Music videos aren't dead, but they are changing
As a Brisbane-based music video producer and director, I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with some of Australia’s hottest emerging talent, like Queensland hip-hop artist Blaq Carrie. Our fourth collaboration ‘Musashi Freestyle’ screened at Sydney’s Lift-Off Film Festival in 2021. Since the beginnings of my career as a music video producer, I’ve built a versatile portfolio across multiple genres, producing videos for high-energy punk anthems, directing whimsical children’s music videos and even experimenting with a series of vertical dance films. I’m passionate about the Australia’s vibrant music scene, and since returning to Brisbane, it’s reaffirmed that this is the capital for emerging musical talent. While traditional music videos are no longer on the cards for many artists, video content is still an integral part of connecting with audiences. I look forward to producing more music videos that push creative boundaries and capture attention amidst our ever-evolving digital landscape.
